The location of this accommodation is ideal for families, as it is only a short ride away from a main area with lots of great restaurants and pubs. it is conveniently close to the beach, offering a wonderful opportunity for relaxing walks. the house itself is very spacious and tastefully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. the owner, Sarah, goes above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome and a pleasant stay, providing thoughtful touches such as bubbly and chocolates on arrival. the outdoor area with a BBQ is perfect for enjoying warm days.

Sadly, there is no village pub nearby, but this can be easily overlooked by taking advantage of the numerous restaurants and pubs in the main area.

We had a lovely weekend break at the Old Vicarage. The house was clean and welcoming, with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The host, Sarah, was friendly and gave us a tour of the spacious cottage. The facilities were excellent, including two lounges with plenty of seating, wifi, and Sky television. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the big dining table was perfect for meals. The location was great for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas, like Bamburgh Castle and Seahouses. Sarah went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, like wine and chocolate, making it a truly enjoyable stay.

    We do recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing Xmas break at this charming hotel! The warm welcome with wine and chocolates was a great start. The clean and well-provided room, complete with lovely bed linen and cozy pillows, made for a comfortable stay. The secluded outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying some quiet time. The hotel's location, just a short drive from the town center, allowed for easy access to local attractions.

The bed was a bit firm for my liking, but the overall experience was fantastic. It would have been nice to have soap in the shower instead of using the hand wash from the sink.

We got excellent value for our money at the Old Vicarage, with a comfortable and clean room that had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with Berwick and Holy Island just a few miles away, and we received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff.

The breakfast offerings could be improved by including some more variety, like mini boxes of cereal and croissants.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Old Vicarage! The host was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The villa itself is spacious and clean, with two living areas and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed linen was lovely, although the bed itself was a bit hard. However, this didn't detract from our overall experience. The location is great, with easy access to the town center and a quiet atmosphere. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of wine and chocolates upon arrival. Despite a few minor things, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
